There are numerous sites in the internet that provide you lists of free proxies for you to use on your applications.

Although the addresses have been tested minutes before you try to use them, you find out that they can't be used!

That's where Proxy List Verifier is needed! This application tests every proxy against a given internet address (URL) and then, depending on the result, the proxy is either validated or rejected. All you have to do now is to generate a new file (or copy the results to the clipboard) and apply the tested proxies in the program you want to use.
